I have previously dabbled into the wor

ld of Hair Dressing, & have had a career spanning over 12 years in the Financial Environment… but I always felt incomplete & that something was missing in my life. I knew I wanted to paint, draw & take my artistic ideas further on a digital platform. To satisfy my hunger for creativity, I took the strategic and bold step by making a mid-career change returning full-time to University as a mature student at the age of 40. It was a huge personal adjustment & mastering the digital programs proved to be quite challenging at first. Countless sleepless nights watching YouTube tutorials & engaging in other creative learning resources paid of. I completed my 1st year of study as the top student & was rewarded twice with the Absa Outstanding Student Scholarship. 4 Years of fierce commitment culminated in 2019 when I graduated with highest distinction in Graphic Design Bachelors Degree / Summa Cum Laude. Throughout this journey & experience Visual Poetry was born. Graphic Design content which tickle the imagination & spark a conversation.
