FESTIVE SLOWDOWN NOTICE.

Please note that Stragoa Group enters its annual festive slowdown period as of Friday, 13 December 2024 until 6 January 2025. During this period, reduced staff operations will be in effect for support, business development and project executions.

During the slowdown period, our Support Services will be operating at single-operator rotation basis, and Official Service Desk Channels will strictly be enforced to ensure accurate service delivery.

All Telco orders and installations are suspended until 6 January 2025, as most Telco operators have already entered the Network Freeze Period.

Last week we had the opportunity to join the annual Africa Tech Week. Attending headline events Africa Tech Festival, joining renewed forces with our peers at Teraco - A Digital Realty Company, NAPAfrica Internet Exchange Point and INX-ZA at their highly collaborative and successful events, including the 8th South African Peering Forum (ZAPF8) and Open Access XII Pan-Africa.

We also got to collaborate with our friends at Paratus, meeting the team behind the network!

A huge thank you to all of the hosts and sponsors for making these events possible for us, to collaborate with our Peers, and make the internet a safer, sustainable and growing space.

Four months ago, we saw the need. This week, we're doing something about it. As the project initiators and ICT Consulting Engineers, we are empowering Hottentots Holland High School with a Schools' Free Fibre connection, together with our sister company Matimba Solutions, proudly supported by our partners Octotel and Vox Telecom.

We've broken ground on the installation - next week, we go live with a Gigabit fibre internet connection, for students and educators at the school.
