Internet access is restricted in Tibet, which is tightly controlled by Beijing, and reporters cannot travel there without government permission. So much of what we know about the 7.1 magnitude quake and its aftermath is from Chinese government controlled state media.

Our thoughts are with the Tibetans as they navigate the deaths and suffering from this earthquake and the ongoing violence destruction and torture by the Chinese Communist Party who illegally invaded and stole Tibet in 1950 & continue to illegally occupy it.
