CZ Electronics We’re a world class electronic manufacturer with a strategy of continual reinvestment in technology and people.

CZ Electronics was born of a desire to retain much-needed manufacturing infrastructure within the SA market. This desire became reality with the purchase of the former Alcatel Manufacturing facility on Johannesburg’s East Rand. Led by an assembled team of veteran electronics engineers’ eager to retain the manufacturing capacity inherent at the site, they oversaw the transformation to CZ Electronics Manufacturing (PTY) Ltd in 2002.

The majority of our 490-strong staff are women from previously disadvantaged backgrounds, and we take it upon ourselves to provide support and training on an ongoing basis, making sure that our female workforce are empowered and employable in the field of electronics manufacturing, wherever their futures may take them. In the last decade, CZ Electronics has invested heavily in upgrading its manufacturing facility based on Johannesburg’s East Rand. The net result is a world-class, multifaceted electronics manufacturing complex.

These continuous and calculated investments have also enabled CZ Electronics to morph from being a contract manufacturer only, to a technology development partner for many retailers and industries.
