It’s how you boost business numbers by solving the right problems. THERE ARE NO SECRETS TO SUCCESS. It is the result of preparation, hard work, and applied learning from failure. The name is an extension of my design philosophy — create meaningful clear solutions for the client and their users – not for myself. I begin every problem with an open mind, curious spirit and without preconceived ideas to achieve clarity of expression. Hence, I began Lucidity.

Most work does not disappear when a project ends. The context around it does.

Months later, someone asks for a small change or wants to know why a decision was made. The answer may be somewhere in an old email, a handover, a Drive folder or a conversation, but finding it means rebuilding the story from fragments.

That is why I built a Second Brain. I turn useful material into context records, and repeated solutions into methods I can use again. AI helps me search and apply that material, but it does not replace judgement or decide what is true.

The full article explains the system and includes a small starter for anyone who wants to begin: https://richardgeorgedavis.substack.com/p/why-i-built-a-second-brain-and-how

How I use a Markdown-first system and AI to keep the context, decisions and useful threads behind my work from disappearing between projects.
