Proud to see ShieldNet 360 showcased at Dubai AI Festival 2026 🇦🇪🛡️

Alongside UNEY, we had the chance to introduce ShieldNet 360 to the community and share how simpler, smarter cybersecurity can help growing businesses stay protected.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, connected with the team, and exchanged ideas with us. 💙

𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗜 𝗧𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿: 𝗚𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗗𝘂𝗯𝗮𝗶 𝗔𝗜 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 🙏

As an exhibitor, as a speaker, as a listening partner and as a friend. That's how we describe ourselves after wrapping up the Dubai AI Festival held at DWTC, UAE on 26-27 October 2026. One thing that remains true: 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵. 😍🤝

Here are three ways we shared value with the community and attendees:

🎙️ 𝗖𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻. Our CTO, Ken N., took the stage to share key insights on how AI delivers real and scalable value for SMEs, bridging the gap between cutting-edge tech and daily business growth.

🙌 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗵𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗕𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺. Shoutout to our team members and Rochester Institute of Technology, Dubai (RIT Dubai) for bringing so much positive energy to the event! Your passion and enthusiasm in sharing knowledge and showcasing the Uney products and their AI capabilities made our booth a vibrant hub for learning!

📄 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲. Our industry-accepted research papers were made available at our booth as part of our active contribution to shaping secure and trusted AI architectures.

𝗕𝗼𝗻𝘂𝘀 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁: We did something unexpected and onboarded our newest team member Hariharann Rajasekaran onsite at the festival! 🎉🤝

Thank you to the event organizers Ignyte and Terrapinn , Rochester Institute of Technology, Dubai (RIT Dubai) and everyone who stopped by our booth to connect, learn and exchange ideas. If we connected during the event (or even if we missed each other), let's keep the conversation going! Let's continue to build a smarter, safer and more connected future together! 🫶

You sent the file. Then you noticed the email address. 👀
Wrong person. Real company data.

Customer lists, invoices, contracts, credentials... once confidential information reaches an attacker, deleting the email won’t undo it.

What matters next is speed:
Stop > Report > Explain exactly what was sent.
And don’t delete the evidence. Your security team may need it to understand what happened and prevent the next attack.

Clicked a phishing link? Don’t panic. But don’t ignore it either 🚨

Clicking the link alone does not automatically mean you’ve been hacked. What matters is what happened next. Did you enter a password? Approve an MFA request? Download a file? Share financial or confidential information?

The safest response is simple:
Stop → Report → Explain exactly what happened → Follow IT/security instructions.

The faster you report it, the more time your company has to investigate and stop a small mistake from becoming a bigger incident.

He just wanted to download a PDF reader.
He searched for one on Google.
Clicked the first result.
Downloaded it.
And got back to work.
A few minutes later, his laptop started behaving strangely.
The website he'd downloaded it from wasn't one the company normally used.
Nobody in the company had even heard of it.
And honestly, this is how most people use the internet.
You need something.
You search for it.
You click the first thing that looks right.
You get what you came for.
Then you move on.
Now multiply that by 30 people.
Or 50.
Or 100.
Everyone is browsing.
Everyone is going somewhere.
But the person running the business may have no idea where.
Before you finish work today, pick one laptop in your company.
Open the browser history.
Don't look for anything dramatic.
Just scroll through it.
You'll recognize most of the websites.
But you might find a few you've never heard of.
When you do, don't immediately block them.
Ask one question: "Why are we using this?"
That answer might tell you more than you expect.

The employee was legitimate.
The password was correct.
MFA worked.
The laptop was secure.
So we looked at what he could actually access.
CRM.
Finance.
HR.
Shared drives.
Some of those systems made sense.
Some didn't.
And that's when you have to ask a different question.
❌ Not: "Can this person log in?"
✅ But: "Should this person be able to access all of this?"
Because access tends to accumulate.
Someone changes roles.
They join a new project.
They need access to another system.
Someone gives it to them.
Then the project ends.
But the access stays.
Six months later, nobody remembers why they still have it.
Before you finish work today, pick one employee who's been with the company for a few years.
Look at every system they can access.
Then ask: "Do they still need all of this?"
You might be surprised by what you find.

Real Google security alert or a phishing email made to look like one? 👀
The logo looks right.
The message sounds urgent.
The button says “Secure your account now.”
But that doesn’t mean it’s really from Google.

Fake security alerts can look extremely convincing, and one wrong click could lead to stolen credentials or account takeover. The safer habit is simple:

Don’t verify Google through the email. Verify the email through Google. Open your Google Account directly and check recent security activity there.

Phishing vs spear phishing - What’s the difference? 🎣

Phishing = One fake email sent to lots of people.
Spear phishing = One fake email made specifically for you, your role, or your company.

Think:
“Your account will expire” → Phishing
“Hi Finance, please pay this supplier today” → Spear Phishing 👀

The second one feels more real because attackers do their homework.

Your inbox is part of your business infrastructure. 📩

It’s not just where messages live.

Your email holds:
💳 Payment requests
📄 Contracts
🔑 Account access
💬 Customer conversations

So when one inbox gets compromised, attackers may get much more than “just email.”

Email Security in ShieldNet Defense helps detect phishing, suspicious links, malicious files, payment fraud, and risky requests — while giving your team clear steps on what to check next.

Full web visibility isn’t just for big enterprises 🌐👀
Every day, your team visits websites, uses cloud apps, and connects to online services.
If you can’t see where that traffic is going, risky connections can stay hidden until something goes wrong.
ShieldNet Gateway helps SMEs see web activity more clearly, filter risky traffic, and block dangerous destinations.

How reassured are you knowing your antivirus is switched on? Here's the uncomfortable truth — It's only catching threats it's already seen before.

Modern malware doesn't look like malware. It uses your own system's tools, blends into normal processes, and moves quietly until the damage is already done. Antivirus built for yesterday's threats won't flag today's.

Episode 8 of CISO Says. What antivirus misses, how behaviour monitoring fills the gap, and the one weekly habit that clears silent threats before Monday.
