Albany IT has been providing IT Support services in the Great Southern for 11 years has now expanded the point that we are now able to offer the right person the opportunity to join the Albany IT team as we grow our services from general hardware, software and networking support to include telephony, email and web hosting whilst still continuing to provide exceptional support for our existing business and home user clients


The person should ideally

· Have technical knowledge in the IT Industry with at least 5 years experience in hardware, software and networking
· Have TAFE or other qualifications in IT or associated areas, but not essential
· Be able to work independently and as part of the Albany IT team
· Feel comfortable working with clients (one on one) in their environments
· Respond to client queries over the phone
· Be able to troubleshoot and work through (sometimes) challenging issues to clients satisfaction
· Have good communication skills, both written and verbal
· Have own reliable vehicle and current drivers license
· Have a Police Clearance or be able to obtain one

The position is casual with a minimum of 4 hours per week, with a view to increase hours to cover leave and periods of increased work loads. Albany IT will provide any training and support required.

Ever considered what you would lose when your computer stops working?

All those Family photos, Holiday snaps, Grandma's Family recipe, Emails, Tax documents. Gone!
Now I know we tech people do our best to work miracles in getting your photos and documents back but sadly its not always possible and its getting harder to do.
Inevitably the questions will be asked "Do you have a Backup?, When was the last time you did a Backup?"
Often the answers are "No" or "6 Months ago". How many photos did you just lose, How much work do you now need to redo?
