🌊 Isle of Wight Sea Glass Wooden Art 🌊
How beautiful is this piece? 💚

Dee has been working on this project for a few weeks and he is very pleased with how it has turned out.

This large project was made using recycled pallet wood and gorgeous pieces of Isle of Wight sea glass, this unique artwork features the shape of the Isle of Wight and
Every piece of sea glass was collected on the island and has its own shape, colour and story, which means if he makes anymore not two will ever be the same 🌿🌊

Available to purchase at the shop from tomorrow or can be posted of postage is covered.

Handmade with love and inspired by our beautiful Island.

Quinn is 8 years old & lives in Sandown with his Mum, Dad & Brother. Quinn had a tough time with school in year 1 & 2 and became so awfully sad, so in February 2025 after his Autism diagnosis, we decided to remove him and home educate him.

Since then Quinn is absolutely thriving and so much happier! He has recently shown an interest in taking photos with his phone and being home educated that is how he will learn, through finding his own interests. We wanted to encourage this and help him where possible.

It was Quinns idea to sell his photos and I was happy to do this and teach him about profits and costs, he loves the outdoors and especially loves photographing flowers but has started to try other things too on our island.

🔺STILL SEARCHING FOR A NEW HOME FOR ZTAM & CO 🔺

Hey everyone,
We’re still desperately searching for a new shop premises in Ryde for Ztam & Co.
We have now looked into pretty much all of the suitable properties currently advertised on the main commercial letting websites, and we’ve also been in close contact with the commercial letting agents on the Island.
Sadly, we still haven’t found the right place.

Some have been too small, some haven’t had the right layout or frontage, and others have simply been too expensive for us to take on .

But we are not giving up.
So we’re putting another plea out there…
If anyone knows of a shop that may be coming available soon, knows a landlord with a suitable retail premises, or has heard of anything that isn’t yet being advertised, please drop me a message.

Ideally we are looking for:
* Ryde town centre or a good Ryde location
* Good passing footfall
* Decent shop window frontage
* Enough space for our sellers and displays
* Affordable rent and running costs
* Somewhere we can hopefully continue growing the community side of Ztam & Co too
We really don’t want this to be the end of the shop, so if you know of anything at all, please get in touch.

❤️ **5 WEEKS TO GO… AND WE’RE STILL SEARCHING** ❤️

Hey everyone,

We now have just 5 weeks left of trading at our current Ztam & Co shop.

We’ve been out looking, viewing different premises, doing the figures, asking questions, comparing options and trying to find somewhere that would allow us to continue what we’ve built.

Sadly, we still haven’t found the right place.

The decisions haven’t been made easily,
Some shops have been too small, some haven’t had the right frontage or layout, and the larger ones that would work for everything we want to do have come with a much bigger financial commitment than we can comfortably take on.
It’s such a shame landlords want such a long lease. I understand why but it’s hard for smaller business that want to see if something could work before making such a big commitment.

But… we are still searching.

We really don’t want this to be the end of Ztam & Co.

This shop has become so much more than just a place to buy gifts. It has become a home for local artists, crafters, makers, authors and small businesses, and a real little community that we are incredibly proud of.

So if anyone hears of a suitable retail premises in Ryde, preferably somewhere with good footfall, decent window frontage and enough space for us to continue supporting our sellers, please please let us know.

We’re keeping everything crossed that the right place appears at the right time. 🤞

In the meantime, our closing-down sale continues, and we still have lots of beautiful handmade items, gifts and bargains in store.

✨ The shop has been absolutely buzzing today!✨

Hey all,

What a lovely busy day we’ve had at Ztam & Co. ❤️

So many people have been in grabbing some **amazing bargains**, and our closing-down sale is still going strong, with more items being added all the time.

Don’t forget, we also have a lovely range of Isle of Wight fudge and shortbread, perfect for a little treat or gift.

🎄 **The last of our gonks are now BUY ONE GET ONE FREE**

🧵 And if you’re into jewellery making, we have four boxes full of crafty goodies at just 75p a bag, or 5 bags for £3.00.

Below is another selection of photos showing both sale items and full-price items currently available in the shop.

Please bear in mind that some items shown in the photo collages may already have sold, so if there’s something you’ve spotted, just drop me a message and I can check whether we still have it.

From next week, our sellers will also slowly start collecting their stock. We still have 79 sellers to stock-check and arrange collections for, so this will all be staggered over the coming weeks.

That does mean some products may disappear before our final trading day, so if you see something you love, please don’t leave it too long.

If you can’t get into the shop straight away, message me and I’m always happy to put something aside for a short time.

This is another reason I do what I do. 😍This warms my heart so much. And I am so happy I can help. We can’t wait to print some of .A Photography amazing photos up and have them on display for lots of others to enjoy. All this is Another reason why I want to continue Ztam & Co 🤞

Hi guys!

Yesterday we met with Kelly at Ztam & Co. Dispite having her own difficulties, having to unexpectedly find a new location & move her shop in a few weeks time she reached out to offer to help Quinn sell a few of his photos. Even offering to print them onto a few items at the shop!

In true Quinn style he was not interested at all yesterday & only wanted to get to the beach as thats what we were doing but stopped to see Kelly on the way 🤣🤦‍♀️💙🌊

Kelly was so understanding of this & how kids with Autism & adhd can be like that, it doesn't mean he's not happy or doesn't care & he's always taking in whats being said 💙

I know that he is so excited about this!

This whole thing with Quinns photos has also made me realise there's so many people supporting him in one way or another that aren't family or friends but just people who have seen his page & want to support a little boy which is always what I would try & do aswell for people.

Also, it doesn't matter if this doesn't last or he doesn't become a photographer! For me its all about giving him confidence & making him happy at this moment.

We'll keep you updated about the shop! Please support them if you live on the island. For the next few weeks they are still above The Duck in Ryde & have some really lovely items in there ALL made by island people 🥰

✨ **Just 6 Weeks Left at Our Current Shop** ✨

Hey everyone,

Just a little update from us. ❤️

We now have six weeks today left of trading here at Ztam & Co.

There are lots of sales going on throughout the shop at the moment, with some amazing bargains to be had, alongside plenty of beautiful full-price handmade items from our talented Island sellers.

We are still very much looking at possible new homes for Ztam & Co too, and we’re going to view another shop in Ryde tomorrow… so please keep everything crossed for us. 🤞❤️

We’re trying every possible avenue because we really would love to keep Ztam & Co going and continue supporting our wonderful community of local artists, crafters, makers and small businesses.

Below is just a small selection of the lovely items currently available in the shop — some are in the sale and some are still full price.

🌸 Natural Confetti – Handmade on the Isle of Wight 🌿
How beautiful is this idea? ❤️
One of our talented Island makers Sienna creates gorgeous natural confetti using dried rose petals and lavender, all lovingly prepared here on the Isle of Wight.
Perfect for weddings, celebrations, table decorations or adding a lovely natural touch to a special occasion.
Not only does it look beautiful, it also smells amazing thanks to the lavender. 🌿
A lovely alternative to traditional confetti and another wonderful example of the unique handmade products created right here on our Island.

🌿 Calling Island Makers, Artists, Crafters & Local Producers 🌿

We are currently exploring an exciting possible new home for Ztam & Co in a prime Ryde location with much greater footfall and visibility, and we are now looking to hear from people who may be interested in selling with us.

Over the past two and a half years, Ztam & Co has grown into a wonderful community of local artists, crafters, makers, authors, designers and producers, and at one point we proudly had 86 Island sellers under one roof.

Our possible new premises would be larger, with fantastic display areas, large shop windows and room for us to expand what we offer. First refusal of places would be offered to sellers that currently sell with us then we will have some more spaces for new people to join us.

We would love to hear from people that are interested in renting a space who are creating or supplying things such as:
• Handmade gifts�• Art and photography�• Jewellery�• Ceramics and pottery�• Woodwork�• Textiles and needlecraft�• Local produce�• Books by Island authors�• Cards and stationery�• Skincare and wellbeing products�• Unique or unusual Island-made products�• And anything else produced / made on the island.

We will continue to pride ourselves on not having too much of the same thing. We love the fact we have a big variety of arts and crafts.

We will also have an large area that is a separate room suitable as an art gallery, workshop, community space, pop up shop, craft market / fairs so we would especially love to hear from people who may be interested in renting this.

We also have some rooms that could be used as workshops/studios for crafters to take their craft to the next level and away from the home.

We are currently gathering interest before making our final decision on the premises, so there is no commitment at this stage.

Hey all. Slight change in this coming weeks days we are open.
Our girls have to both have some teeth out on Tuesday so we will be closed that day.
And then we be closed our regular days off wed & Thur so back open at 10am on Friday
