You don’t need better speakers… you need a better room.
I’ve seen people spend thousands upgrading speakers, amplifiers, DACs and cables…
…and hear almost no improvement.
Not because the gear isn’t better.
Because the room is still the bottleneck.
Here’s what most people never realise:
Your speakers only produce the direct sound.
What you actually hear is a combination of:
• Direct sound
• Wall reflections
• Floor bounce
• Ceiling reflections
• Bass buildup
In many rooms, the room contributes more to the final sound than the speakers themselves.
So when you upgrade gear without fixing acoustics…
you’re often upgrading the wrong thing.
That’s why so many systems still sound:
• Harsh
• Muddy
• Fatiguing
• Lacking depth
The system changed.
The problem didn’t.
Fix the room first.
Then decide if you still need new gear.
I built AudioBro to help audiophiles identify room problems before wasting thousands on unnecessary upgrades.
