Front-End Developer (WordPress & Elementor)

Job Description:
You will be working as a front-end developer in a squad consisting of project managers, copywriters, designers, and developers who plan, design, and build WordPress websites. The squad is in our Website Projects division where your job will be to build websites in partnership with the project manager according to their deadlines.
Necessary Requirements:
WordPress Expertise: You should have at least an intermediate understanding and working knowledge of WordPress. This includes the ability to use HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP to implement visual and content elements of websites, to understand various page layouts and eCommerce plugins, and to add images, icons, and vectors that function on desktop- and mobile-friendly web pages.
Page Builder Experience: You should have experience with the page-building tool Elementor, as well as Javascript & jQuery skills for building and updating pages in WordPress.
Technical Collaboration Mindset: You should be an inquisitive professional who likes to support your fellow developers by helping to troubleshoot and resolve WordPress and Elementor challenges.
Creativity & Confidence: You should be someone who has ideas about web development and process improvements, and be comfortable sharing them and discussing them with your colleagues.
Work samples portfolio
Social media and/or SMS marketing knowledge is a plus!
Strong communication, multitasking skills, and deadline adherence skills.
Responsibilities:
Build new and existing pages on our websites from Figma UIs provided by our designer Assist in the design and implementation of new features and functionalities for WordPress Troubleshoot and customize plugins and themes
Develop and manage website backends, as well as server and database integration
Testing website performance, improving speed, identifying and correcting errors and bugs Implementing SEO recommendations on all projects
Ensure that the design and performance of websites adhere to the quality standards of our company.
Qualifications:
At least intermediate English-language skills
Deep WordPress experience & Elementor experience
Strong analytical thinking plus design and UX awareness
HTML5 & CSS3 plus familiarity with Javascript and jQuery
Customer-oriented, self-motivated, and positive thinking
Interest in researching and acquiring new expertise
Team-oriented with the confidence to work and communicate with other FE developers, as well as project managers, designers, and copywriters in a small squad
*This is not an entry-level position. The right candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced operations environment in a WordPress FE development role. Future leadership opportunities and growth potential await the right candidate.
**Candidates with eCommerce (WooCommerce) experience will be given special consideration.
