UAC-2 USB audio interface project

Using:
+ ST Arm Cortex-M7 STM32F723ZET6,
+ 2 Low Phase Noise XOs
+ built-in digital volume
+ many GPIOs for future functions.

Prototype board was tested. It supports up to PCM 32bit/384khz.
In the next steps, It will integrated into a usb UAC-2 receiver board or USB FPGA DAC

About Digital Filter for Digital Audio
Digital signal processing (DSP) is the use of digital processing, such as by computers or more specialized digital signal processors.
FPGA and DSP represent two very different approaches to signal processing – each good at different things. There are many high sampling rate applications that an FPGA does easily, while the DSP could not.

The common filter of the DSP are Cascade integrator-comb (CIC) filter, Finite impulse response (FIR) filter, Infinite impulse response (IIR) filter.

This post shows how to design a FIR filter for slow signal such as audio signal.

1. Simulation FIR filter to choose design method and find out the array of coefficients.
2. Implementing the fiter on FPGA.
3. Evaluation the quality of result.
