NBIV Semiconductor is Hiring: Full-time Custom Layout Engineer (5+ Years of Experience).
📍 Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
📅 Start Date: As soon as possible.
💼 Job Description:
✔ Design Custom Layout for analog, mixed-signal such as LDO, Bandgap, ADC/DAC, PLL, SerDes, CDR, Equalizer, Drive, IO Pad, etc.
✔ Collaborate closely with Analog Design and Physical Design teams to ensure layout quality and compliance with electrical, performance, and area constraints.
✔ Optimize layout for IR drop, electromigration (EM), signal integrity (SI), and meet DRC/LVS requirements.
✔ Perform DRC, LVS, ERC, PEX verification using EDA tools such as Calibre.
✔ Ensure layout compliance with technology standards from foundries such as TSMC, Samsung and support advanced process nodes from 2nm, 4nm, 5nm, 8nm, 14nm, 28nm, etc.
✔ Assist in tape-out activities, debugging, and improving layout design processes.
✨Requirements:
✔ At least 5 years of experience in Custom Layout. Less than 1 year experience is acceptable as engineer.
✔ Proficient in Cadence Virtuoso, Calibre DRC/LVS, PVS, or similar tools.
✔ Experience with Calibre DRC/LVS/PEX, ICV DRC/LVS, StarRCXT.
✔ Strong understanding of analog layout principles: matching, shielding, common centroid, guard ring, and dummy devices.
✔ Experience working with FinFET technologies (4nm, 5nm, 8nm, 14nm) and GAAFET technologies (2nm, 3nm) is a plus.
✔ Good teamwork and communication skills.
