🚒👩🏼‍🚒Harriet Foard is a volunteer firefighter at Kyneton Fire Brigade (CFA), and was part of a strike team that fought the fires in East Gippsland during the recent season.

For we asked Harriet about why she loves being a part of CFA.

"I'm passionate about being a volunteer, and I love my role as a firefighter. It allows me to give back to my community.

"Within my brigade I've got a second family who have really helped me through some tough times.

"I think people should volunteer because it's so fulfilling...a simple thanks from someone who called upon us to help them is just a feeling you cannot buy."

[More interesting ways to manage your team's availability]

🗓The availability settings have been updated from the last version, now members can manage their schedule in Horizontal and Vertical view.

📅 Each view has its own purpose:

🔸Vertical view is best for creating activities in a fast way since you can view how many people are available at different time spots.

🔸While a horizontal view gives you an overview of certain members' statuses throughout a day, you will have more flexibility in picking members and appointing tasks for that day based on their availability time. It's best for task delegation.
