🤝🌏 The best collaborations don’t happen by accident.

In our experience, the customers who achieve the strongest outcomes in international projects are often the ones who invest a little extra effort into the relationship.

This doesn’t mean spending hours researching cultural guides or studying complex cultural frameworks. More often, it’s about something much simpler:

👥 taking the time to understand the people you work with.
❓ What motivates them?
💬 How do they prefer to communicate?
🌍 What matters to them in their work and culture?

When teams approach cross-border partnerships with the same curiosity, respect, and consideration they would show colleagues in their own office, collaboration becomes smoother, stronger, and far more effective.

🎧 In this short clip, we reflect on why understanding the human side of global collaboration can make all the difference.

🌏 Unspoken Assumptions in Cross-Cultural Collaboration

Many of the biggest challenges in international projects don’t come from technology or technical complexity.. They come from unspoken assumptions.

When teams from different countries start working together, it’s easy to assume that processes, communication styles, and ways of working should be the same everywhere... But in reality, they rarely are.

At ISB Vietnam, we believe successful collaboration starts somewhere else with understanding before standardizing.

In this short clip, you’ll hear a bit about how we think about cross-cultural collaboration, and why recognizing different perspectives is often the key to building stronger partnerships and avoiding unnecessary friction.
