Khám phá cách dòng FPGA Agilex 3 tối ưu chi phí của Altera đang thay đổi công nghệ thị giác nhúng, thông qua việc vận hành một quy trình xử lý hình ảnh camera (camera pipeline) hoàn chỉnh và thực tế từ cảm biến đến màn hình hiển thị độ phân giải 4K. Bằng cách tiếp nhận dữ liệu hình ảnh thô 12-bit từ cảm biến Sony qua giao tiếp MIPI CSI-2, xử lý dữ liệu đó bằng bộ xử lý tín hiệu hình ảnh (ISP) tích hợp, và xuất ra video 4Kp30 sắc nét qua cổng DisplayPort 1.4, thiết kế tham chiếu (reference design) này chứng minh rằng công nghệ thị giác hiệu năng cao không nhất thiết phải đi đôi với phần cứng đắt đỏ. Đây là nền tảng sẵn có và dễ tùy biến dành cho các kỹ sư trong các lĩnh vực như camera thông minh, tự động hóa công nghiệp, chế tạo robot và phân tích bán lẻ.
