New week, new episode! Excited to share that this week’s Rationale episode features Pedro! He’s got some great reflections to tell from his own story 🌟 Check out the caption below to hear more about what he’s learned! 👋🏻
-------------------------
Pedro came down with a terrible flu for the past couple of weeks. He couldn't breathe properly; he was coughing all day, and his head felt like it “got rammed by a truck” (it’s a direct quote, FYI). During this time, Pedro still tried to be at the office because he was afraid that his work would pile up if he took some time off. Predictably, his plan backfired because even though he was able to be physically present at the office, his condition reduced his productivity to almost non-existent. Only when his colleagues insisted he take better care of himself that Pedro finally decided to take a few days off.
While in recovery, however, Pedro’s mental battle also got more heated—the frustration of being stuck at home, wanting to push through the sickness and get back to work kept mounting. Pedro had to constantly remind himself of his limits. He understood that forcing himself wouldn’t help and might even make matters worse. So, he decided to stay consistent with his recovery. After a week of proper rest, Pedro was back at work and feeling like himself again. On his first day back at the office, his productivity sky-rocketed and he quickly sorted through the work he had missed during his absence, with the support of his colleagues at Raconteur Vietnam.

The lesson Pedro learned was clear: don’t try to push through when you’re not well. Sometimes, the most responsible thing you can do is take care of your health first so you can come back stronger, more productive, and fully ready to handle your responsibilities.

Let’s wrap up the week with a new episode of the Ra-tionale series! This week, we’re sharing Aubrey’s story about how she discovered a new working approach that helps her stay productive. Check out the caption below to see how she makes it work 👌🏻
-----------------------------
Aubrey tended to binge-watch YouTube tutorials on dancing, painting, and design, hoping to absorb as much information as possible. However, she found that this often led to doom-scrolling, leaving her feeling passive and unmotivated to actually do anything. Recognizing this bad habit, which was holding her back from making progress, she decided to change her approach.

Instead of her usual routine, Aubrey is now more proactive in clearly dividing the time she spends watching video tutorials for each specific task and dedicating more time to practicing what she has learned. By breaking out of the “passive watching” cycle and focusing on a “doing” mindset, Aubrey finds herself working more efficiently and making effective progress.

That’s the lesson from our talented designer Aubrey. Can’t wait to see what other insightful tips and lessons she’s got for us next!

It's Friday, which means a brand-new episode of Ra-tionale is here! 🎉This week, Linh shares what she’s learned from using ChatGPT. Take a look at the caption below to see the tips she’s got for us in this episode👌
----------------------
Being Gen Z, Linh is familiar with using ChatGPT as her “smart coworker” that can assist with both school and workplace tasks.

One day, during a homework session, the teacher posed a series of questions and encouraged students to look up information from the Internet and use ChatGPT for support. Like always, Linh opened a new chat and typed in her question. But the answers she got were too generic and not even close to what she needed; several different questions even received the same answer.

Unable to use those results, Linh decided to change her approach. Instead of asking broad, general questions, Linh started breaking down her requests into smaller, more detailed and specific questions for the ChatGPT to answer. She also consulted her teacher for more insightful information around her topic so that she can provide better input for ChatGPT
and make sure everything is on the right track.

The final results, of course, ended up being of much higher quality. From this experience, Linh learned that to maximize the value of ChatGPT, it’s important to provide detailed, relevant information and ask thoughtful questions.

Linh will be back with more interesting tips soon, but for now, goodbye and see you next time!

This week’s Ra-tionale episode features Haru sharing the latest insights she picked up from her recent SEO course. She’s excited to share these information with you all – check out the caption below for the details🌟📈
-------------------------------
From her recent SEO course, Haru learned this useful takeaway that she felt was worth sharing: Since July, Google has completely stopped indexing website that don’t work on mobile devices. In other words, mobile-first indexing is in full effect, and if your website is not mobile friendly, it’s not going to appear on search!! It’s not brand new information, but she thought it might be helpful to mention it in the Ra-tionale series.

So what Haru’s basically saying is: if you’re building your site from scratch and intend for it to perform well on Google, then you should first focus on the mobile experience during the design phase. You no longer should design for desktop first, then make it mobile responsive. It actually makes more sense now if you start by designing everything with mobile users in mind – how fast would your site load on mobile devices, how would it appear, how smooth would the interactions on it be, etc. Prioritize testing on mobile first, and then when every detail is finalized, adapt it for desktop viewing.

So yeah, that’s it for this week’s Rationale. A technical advice from a content writer.

See you all next time!

🎉 Guess what? A fresh Ra-tionale episode just dropped! This week, our CEO Phuong is taking you behind the scenes on how “king” content can work SEO wonders. If you're all about making your content pop, this one’s a must-watch. Trust us—you don’t want to miss it! 🌟
---------------------------
“Content is king” Bill Gates said so back in 1996 and almost 30 years later, the saying still rings true—at least, that’s my takeaway after reading about one of the biggest news in the SEO world last week: Google’s started rolling out its latest core update.

Google claims the update would “show more content that people find genuinely useful and less content that feels like it was made just to perform well on Search.” The update is also Google’s way of making an effort to better recognize high-quality content from small websites, meaning they may now have a fighting chance against larger, more established domains.

That being said, the update doesn’t really affect our way of doing things much, since content has always been Raconteur’s area of focus, even more so ever since we switched to doing SEO as a service.

I just think it’s funny and slightly ironic that a saying coined by the founder of Microsoft is being echoed by Google through the latest alteration of (arguably) their best product—the search engine. Lol.

Can you believe it’s already Tuesday? 🙌

It’s that time again for our weekly episode of the Ra-tionale series! 🎉 Starting this week, we’re diving deeper into individual lessons and giving our team members a chance to share their personal takeaways. Let’s kick things off with Miu – our adorable and friendly social content intern 🤩
-------------------------
While Miu was confident in her time management and ability to handle “school tasks” with ease, the realities of office life turned out to be quite different.

The other day at work, Miu was given three tasks, two of which were something that she has already been doing everything—creating content for social media. The last task was to compile a report detailing the performance of the client’s social channels—something Miu thought would be simple to do since it would just require some calculations.

However, while she easily breezed through the two familiar tasks, handling the report turned out to be more complex than expected. She needed to conduct careful summarization and performance comparisons between different time periods and suggest insights as well as future content plans based on the data. She was getting extremely stressed and panicky as the deadline approached for that last task.

Luckily, she still got it done in time, and her supervisor approved the result of her work. However, the experience gets Miu to think about how important it is to truly grasp the nature of each task, AND her own abilities when it comes to performing different types of tasks, especially new ones. Also, she now knows to plan accordingly for tasks that demand extra time and effort to prevent last-minute stress and ensure smoother, more efficient completion👌
