🌟 SOICT 2025: A RESOUNDING SUCCESS & MILESTONE FOR COLLABORATION

📍 The 14th International Symposium on Information and Communication Technology (SOICT 2025) has officially concluded after two dynamic days of working (December 12-13) at the Sheraton Nha Trang Hotel. Held during the special week celebrating the 30th Anniversary of the School of Information and Communication Technology - Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the symposium marked a vibrant convergence of knowledge and innovation.

📊 The symposium welcomed 388 participants and received 364 submissions from 30 countries and territories. Through a rigorous review process, 118 papers were selected for Oral presentations (acceptance rate of 32.4%), alongside 117 Poster presentations.

🎓 SOICT 2025 was honored to feature insightful presentations from renowned scholars representing prestigious global institutions, including: The University of British Columbia (Canada), The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Hong Kong), The University of Sydney (Australia), National University of Singapore (Singapore).

🌐 More than just a venue for presenting research results, SOICT 2025 served as a vital bridge for domestic and international groups to connect and share experiences. We were delighted to see the enthusiasm sustained throughout all sessions, right up to the final moments and the Gala Dinner. The diverse attendance ranged from university lecturers and students to researchers and industry representatives.

DAY 2 HIGHLIGHTS

Day 2 of SOICT 2025 featured inspiring keynotes on Multimodal NLP by Prof. Josiah P**n (University of Sydney) and Lightweight AI Models by Prof. Tung K*m Hoe Anthony (NUS). The symposium concluded with dynamic sessions on Lifelog Retrieval, AI Applications, HCI, Multimedia Processing, and Cyber Security.

SOICT 2025 has officially concluded! We extend our heartfelt thanks to all speakers, authors, and attendees for a successful event.

DAY 1 AFTERNOON SESSIONS & INDUSTRIAL TALK
The afternoon session of SOICT 2025 continued with an insightful Industrial Talk and presentations in concurrent sessions.

Mr. Jian Gang Ngui from AI Singapore delivered a talk on "SEA-LION: Southeast Asian Languages in One Network".

Subsequently, SOICT 2025 continued with presentations in concurrent sessions covering diverse research tracks:

OPENING CEREMONY & KEYNOTE PRESENTATIONS
The 14th International Symposium on Information and Communication Technology (SOICT 2025) was officially opened this morning, December 12th, at the Sheraton Nha Trang Hotel. This year's symposium holds special significance as it honors the 30th anniversary of the School of Information and Communications Technology, HUST.
"Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Quyet Thang delivered the opening speech, officially commencing the symposium with the message of 'Convergence of Excellence,' aiming to unite pioneering minds to address challenges in the digital and AI era."
SOICT 2025 commenced with keynote speeches from two world-class scholars: Prof. Vincent Wong from The University of British Columbia, Canada, delivered a talk on "Machine Learning for Integrated Sensing and Communication" (Chaired by Eui-Nam Huh); and Prof. John C.S. Lui from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, presented "Quantum Internet: The Final Frontier" (Chaired by Yukinobu Hoshino).
Following these keynote speeches, the symposium continued with presentations by scholars in concurrent sessions covering significant research areas: AI Foundations and Big Data, Networking and Communication Technologies, Multimedia Processing, AI Applications, Generative AI, Applied Operations Research and Optimization, and Recent Advances in Cyber Security.
The event serves as an academic forum for researchers and graduate students to share their latest findings and identify future computer science challenges.

SOICT 2025 - 1 DAY TO GO

As part of the activities Honoring the 30th anniversary of the School of Information and Communications Technology – Hanoi University of Science and Technology (1995–2025), the The 14th International Symposium on Information and Communication Technology (SOICT 2025) will be held over three days, from December 12th to 14th, 2025.

The first day of the SOICT 2025 features the official Conference Opening followed by two significant keynote addresses. Keynote I, delivered by Vincent Wong, focuses on utilizing Machine Learning (ML) to enhance the performance of Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISAC) - a critical technology for 6G wireless networks. Concurrently, Keynote II, presented by John C.S. Lui, introduces Quantum Computing and explores key research challenges in establishing the Quantum Internet. Following these keynotes, the conference transitions into multiple parallel Sessions running simultaneously.These sessions provide in-depth presentations on accepted research papers, covering diverse and cutting-edge topics such as Quantum Information, AI Applications, Software Engineering, Networking and Communication Technologies, AI Foundations and Big Data, and Applied Operations Research and Optimization.
