Real telehealth, beyond “just video calls”

At Adamo, we are gradually sharing real project stories without revealing client names. This one comes from a healthcare partner who wanted to connect clinics, labs, imaging centers, pharmacies and patients in one place.

Most “telehealth” tools stop at the video visit. In this project, we helped design an end‑to‑end virtual care platform where:

- Patients book online, meet doctors via video and receive lab/imaging orders in the same system

- Results return into one shared view

- E‑prescriptions trigger medication delivery, even across borders

🏃‍♀️🔥 26 runners. 5,240.45 km. One resilient crew.

Our 8th Anniversary Running Challenge at Adamo Software is a wrap, with standout efforts from our top runners at 663 km and 292 km. But the real win was the way everyone showed up for each other: smart training, no overdoing it, and a lot of laughs between the miles.

We finished the challenge the way we started it , together, with a celebration that matched the energy on the track.

Day 2, Day True: What Really Stuck With Us in Singapore

✈️ Two days at HealthTechX Asia 2026, and the Adamo Software team is flying home with a much sharper view of where AI in healthcare is really headed.

🔥Three messages kept coming back in almost every conversation:

👏 Regulation is not the “bad guy”
Many speakers were honest: culture, fear of change and weak ex*****on slow innovation more than the rules do. In parallel, regulators are opening sandboxes and faster tracks for solutions that can prove safety and effectiveness.

🫰 AI has to feel local, trustworthy and part of the workflow
Tools that are trained on different populations, sit on unstable infrastructure, or live on “one more screen” will struggle to win clinicians’ trust. Teams are starting to treat AI more like a new medicine: show the evidence, metrics and local fit before you roll it out.

💪 Strong foundations first, smart AI second
In clinical decision support discussions, leaders kept highlighting the same order of work: fix ERP and data quality, clean up HIS integrations, put governance in place, then let AI into the treatment pathway.

Outside the stages, we had valuable hallway time with CIOs, policymakers and founders across Southeast Asia, talking about how to turn these principles into real system designs, not just slideware.

✈️💪 ✨ ❗ Day 1 at HealthTechX Asia 2026: what did you miss in Singapore?

Adamo team walked into the venue genuinely excited, led by Nguyen Ba Kien. Today our team:

1️⃣ Sat in on sessions where Singapore hospitals showed how AI now supports imaging, documentation, monitoring and operations as part of daily workflows, not just pilots.

2️⃣ Joined a cyber‑resilience panel where IT leaders made it clear: zero‑trust security is becoming a design rule, pushed by regulation, not a last‑minute patch. 🔐

From Adamo’s perspective, this sends a strong signal for AI in healthcare:

3️⃣ In Vietnam, the question is shifting from “Should we try AI?” to “Is our data, infrastructure and security ready for AI to enter real clinical workflows?”.

4️⃣ Across APAC, providers are being pushed to balance innovation with patient safety and compliance at the platform level – not only at the app layer. 💡

Henry (our CTO) just wrote about why that happens, based on some very real mistakes we made early on.

😅𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆:

🔝 We tried dumping every “lesson” into a big file and loading it into the AI every session. It looked smart on day 1 and became pure noise by week 3.

🔝 We indexed knowledge by topic (Auth and Next.js) instead of by the actual error (hydration mismatch and 401 between services). The AI couldn’t find the right fix even when it already existed.

🔝 We trusted auto-capture too much. Letting the AI decide what to save filled our “lessons” folder with half-useful cards and buried the few that mattered.

We wrote a lot of “war stories” and called them “lessons”. Very few had clear triggers, root causes, or prevention rules we could reuse later.

The main thing Henry learned:
AI isn’t the problem.
A bad memory setup around the AI is.

If your assistant never really “remembers” past bugs and decisions, you’ll keep paying for the same mistakes on every project.

Last week, mr. Lý Ngọc Hùng and Quang Anh Tong returned from GITEX Asia in Singapore, and they didn't just bring back souvenir, they brought back a reality check for the industry.

1️⃣ Sitting down with the team yesterday, Henry shared a special observation: everyone at the exhibition was obsessed with buying AI, but very few were talking about the "plumbing" required to run it.
2️⃣ Adam noted that watching enterprises try to plug modern AI into 20-year-old databases was like trying to park a spaceship in a collapsing garage.

👉 The biggest takeaway for Adamo?
The market desperately needs IT partners who are willing to clean up legacy infrastructure. We are completely on the right track. We aren't just adding shiny AI features; we are fixing the foundation so those features actually work safely. Great job representing us in Singapore, guys!
