Job Title: System Engineer

Location: Vietnam

A10 Networks (NYSE: ATEN). The following high-level requirements describe the Systems Engineer (SE) role at A10 Networks. This is a highly demanding role in that A10 requires very high caliber engineering resources, together with commercial pre-sales acumen to drive success within the sales environment. Note that some of these responsibilities may vary by seniority and region covered.

Key Responsibilities:

Work closely with commercial sales team members to meet quarterly revenue goals.
Provide technical support to the sales organization.
Drive preference for A10’s solutions with both end-user and channel partners
Deliver compelling Proof of Concept (PoC) and solution demonstrations to key prospects
Deliver high quality technical training to channel partners and customers as and when needed.
As and when required, provide analysis and input on feature requests required by customers, and help qualify the value, timescales and win probability of having such features in the product.
Maintain high levels of training on current product features and the competitive products and solutions
Assist post sales/TAC in diagnosing and mitigating issues with key customers as and when required
Act as design authority on projects if required
Present A10 solutions to business leaders and technical audiences
Assist writing application notes and technical documents.
Communicate market trends and requirements.

What We Want to See:

4+years of Pre-Sales and Hands-on Application Security and Network experience and expertise. Typically educated to Degree / HND level or equivalent.
Must have in-depth knowledge in at least two areas of specialization in Application Delivery Controllers, NextGen firewalls, Virtualization and Orchestration & Network Security
Must have prior knowledge of Layer-4-7 protocols and technologies such as HTTP, DNS, SSL, Caching, and Compression.
In-depth knowledge and strong operating experience in at least one of the following areas: Enterprise Applications, DevOps tools and routing & switching.
Must be comfortable with traffic generation tools from Ixia, Spirent or others
Programming skills in a modern scripting language is highly desired
Prior experience with a virtualized environment and hypervisors is a plus
