Staying ahead means knowing the tools before you trust them. ⚡

A few weeks back, Formos Vietnam ran an internal tech seminar exploring one of the most talked-about developments in software right now: AI-assisted coding tools like Cursor.

Rather than simply jumping on the trend, our team took the time to dig into the real picture — what these tools do well, where they fall short, and how they fit into the way professional software actually gets built. The strengths, the limitations, and the honest trade-offs.

That's how we approach new technology: with curiosity and a healthy dose of scrutiny. The goal isn't to chase every shiny tool. It's to understand them deeply enough to know when, where, and whether to use them — always with code quality and our clients' standards front of mind.

Great software comes from teams that actually like working together.

Last week, Formos Vietnam traded desks for the outdoors — no laptops, no standups, just our team, nature, and a couple of days to slow down and connect.

Over shared meals, easy conversations, and a few games that got far more competitive than anyone planned, something simple happened: people who collaborate over code every day got to know each other as people.

That isn't a perk. It's the foundation of how we work. The trust our team builds away from the screen is the same trust our clients count on when the deadlines are real and the stakes are high.
