One of the cool things I got from my recent trip in Europe is this glass dip pen from Murano - a series of islands in Venice popular for glass making. I bought it for the purpose of using it to mark my signature in documents and originals. But today I tried using it in drawing and I'm loving it so far! The handmade pen is entirely made of glass from its handle down to the tip of the nib. The nib has a series of shallow grooves that holds the ink when you dip it in the ink bottle. The pen creates more solid and crisp lines that are usually hard to achieve using normal fine liners. Looking forward to create more pieces using this awesome tool! ☺️👌
