Today, we threw a double-feature celebration for Programmer’s Day (coming up tomorrow!) and International QA Day (which was earlier this week).

So, how did we celebrate? By getting an epic spread of Mexican food catered right to the office! 🌮

We’re not gonna lie, rolling back to our chairs after that feast was tough. Let’s just say the rest of the afternoon is being powered by extra-strong coffee. ☕😂

We had a full house at today’s .NET meetup featuring Donald Belcham!

He walked us through his personal project: a fully distributed system that crunches data from over 227,000 football matches: every goal chance, formation, VAR event… you name it.

Built with .NET and machine learning, his setup relies on lots of small, independent systems that talk to each other, instead of one big, fragile monolith.

The big takeaway? 👉 With the right tools (and a whole lot of logging), distributed systems are totally doable.

Huge thanks to Donald for sharing his journey and real-world lessons, and to everyone who showed up and filled the room. ⚽💻

Awesome day yesterday at our office for 💙 We had some bright young women from the public high school number 66 come by to experience a day in tech.

We split into teams and explored a real challenge: how to manage time and stay organized with so many subjects in school.

First, we defined the problem. Those tricky deadlines and remembering everything for each class!

Then, the design team jumped in to brainstorm, sketch, and prototype solutions.

Finally, the development team worked their magic, even getting a little help from ChatGPT, to bring those ideas to life.

It was amazing to see that each group independently landed on a similar solution: a personalized calendar app with reminders, weekly schedules, and even checklists to pack their bags each day.

Definitely some sharp minds in that group! Thanks for coming by and making this day possible! 💙
