The print farm just added a Snapmaker U1 to the lineup 👀

Here’s the honest breakdown vs. the Bambu X2D on 4-color prints:

✅ Color switching is fast — noticeably faster than the H2D on multicolor jobs
✅ Waste is minimal — barely any purge compared to what the H2D chews through on color-heavy prints
✅ Speed wins clearly on 4-color prints specifically

❌ Setup took forever — budget real time for this one
❌ Software is clunky — Snapmaker Orca still has rough edges compared to Bambu Studio

Do I really need 4000 watts of speakers? 21 printers can get kind of loud! I like to watch YouTube while I work. Sometimes concerts, usually alien stuff at the - don’t do what I did if you’re trying to tons of stuff 😖 these are leftover from my days playing drums in a band and having to supply a PA system. Put em on their own circuit. Oh well. I like it.
