๐๐ก WELL... THIS DIDN'T AGE VERY WELL.
Back in 2000, a newspaper predicted that the Internet might be "just a passing fad" and that millions of people would eventually give up on it.
Fast forward to today...
๐ฑ We communicate on it.
๐ป We work on it.
๐ฎ We game on it.
๐ We shop on it.
๐ฌ We stream on it.
๐ฆ We bank on it.
๐ธ We share our lives on it.
In other words... the Internet didn't exactly get the memo. ๐
It's a funny reminder that technology has a way of surprising everyone.
Imagine telling someone in 2000 that one day we'd carry supercomputers in our pockets, stream movies instantly, have video calls from anywhere, and ask AI questions all day long.
Some predictions just don't age well. ๐
๐ฌ What's the biggest technology prediction you've heard that turned out to be completely wrong?
