I'm being a bit lazy this morning so I think I'll post an oldie. Most of these rocks # pebbles look like basalt which is black and gray, definitely looks like a couple metamorphic rocks in there with the stripes. And of course a beautiful Northern Moon snail and some blue mussels and a couple periwinkles. Feels like this one is an ode to a new moon.

Today's feature is mostly which is an intrusive rock. You can see the large crystals of feldspar and quartz, possibly mica too. I may have a mix of other rock types in here too. I'm not an expert though 🙂 being able to identify rocks is hard. There are so many variations!
