At the Fool’s Fandango sale today, one man bought a pair of my woodland earrings for his wife as a gift and put the box in his pocket, then his wife came by after and bought herself a woodland necklace that she was super excited about. Later, as they were leaving together, she looked over to me and said “I just LOVE my necklace!” her husband and I smiled to each other, because he hadn’t given her the earrings yet ☺️

As I’ve been thoroughly enjoying my art evenings at the studio, it occurred to me that others might also like some relaxing art and social time, outside of the focused classes I offer.

So, I’ll be hosting casual creative time (no instruction provided) at my cozy studio for a few hour blocks at different times throughout the weeks to come. If this is something you’re interested in, let me know what days and times work best for your schedule, and I’ll try my best to accommodate.

$15 per person to use the space and bring your own supplies to work with, or use materials at the studio for another $15. Options include painting, drawing, wire wrapping, jewelry making, paper mache, epoxy resin, book making, sculpture, and much more. Registration will be required because space is limited.

I’ll post more details and a schedule within the next few days, and am excited to start these casual creative sessions!

New woodland pendant necklaces! Handmade hammered copper open back bezel, genuine tiny maple leaves, mushrooms, lichen, and 4+ leaf clovers (all found in Vermont), encased in epoxy resin, and finished with a copper coated 18” chain.

A reminder to slow down and pay attention to the tiny, beautiful and powerful details all around us. The maple leaves are also symbolize starting small in order to become big and mighty, as well as the natural flow of changing seasons, and the importance of resting to continue the growth process. We all need these natural reminders!
