Billing has always been much more than just submitting payment claims and collections. However, not until recently, did the industry begin to rely quite heavily on technology; both hardware and software. EHR to RCM cloud-based management systems, along with data storage, security, and analytics, and that is just a few examples of what practices now must face. MedexHM strategically has aligned it's partnerships in IT to support all systems and key practices that apply to any existing structure. Call us today for a free consultation and let us show you how many different facets our services can apply to within your business.

Just as a human body ๐Ÿ‘ซ works as a combination of many complex elements so too should a healthcare ๐Ÿฉบ consulting group. In business we gravitate towards specification but without the proper communication between all groups, this, ultimately, will lead to unorganized chaos. MedexHM services can be selected individually to fit a particular need but our team understands the holistic nature of any practice. That is why data management ๐Ÿ—‚, data analytics ๐Ÿ“Š, and security ๐Ÿ’ป, are always discussed during any consultation. Here at MedexHM, we rarely see revenue problems stemming from a single source; they are a culmination of deficiencies in staffing, workflow, training, and in-house software.

With healthcare revenue margins shrinking, your organization needs to implement efficient and innovative ways to recognize, capture, and collect revenues. In order to accomplish this, each deficiency must be addressed as part of a coordinated solution to obtain real results. Most importantly, this must be done without disrupting your operations or alienating your staff.

Contact MedexHM and we will work with you to analyze your current revenue cycle operations and focus on innovative, very cost-effective ways to improve your bottom line.

Please read the attached article written by Teri Gatchel-Schmidt MBC, CPC as she points out some of the inefficiencies across the revenue cycle.

"We strongly believe that the successful healthcare organizations will be the ones that are able to combine the best clinical practices with the best data practices."

David Labajo, VP of Digital Sales for GE

Any practice, or medical group, faced with the decision to begin a digital transformation can feel overwhelmed and under prepared. Our clients resist this effort because they don't look at their industry as an IT driver; understandable as their primary focus is to help their patients. However, today, the best way to help your patients is to implement a remote presence through telemedicine and establish key data management processes where there is an ease of access through patient portals. Watch the video linked below to gain a better understand of how GE solutions are tackling this very element!

David Labajo, VP of digital sales Europe at GE Healthcare, says leadership is crucial to developing new strategies to provide more sustainable healthcare and improve outcomes.

One of the top level services we provide is Cloud-based data management, warehousing, and analytics. Our team members are experts in the collection of data, from all different sources, the storage of this data, and developing custom reports and dashboards that make visualizing all data easier. Medex HM also analyzes industry data to provide our clients (and prospective clients) with the most up-to-date information and guidance.
There are a lot of studies, that were initiated during the Covid-19 pandemic, which have now collected enough data for analysis. One data cluster Medex HM is particular interested in examining is how the pandemic affected workloads of hospital and clinical staff. In the article linked below, written by Tammy Lovell, it states that "HIMSS research found that digital transformation has the potential to either decrease or increase healthcare workers stress levels." If your company is interested in learning more about our data management services or how Medex HM can help build or optimize your remote techniques please contact us! Medex HM will help any group to understand how each of these elements can enhance patient care, and business practices overall. Most importantly, and not discussed in this article, is also the management of data received from all these initiatives. Let us help to build you a complete digital infrastructure complete with a cloud-based data management system that will be compliant with all industry regulations and security requirements.

Smart medtech investors should put smart technologies for outpatient care squarely in their crosshairs. Here are 5 technologies to watch out for

We have been asked by many if virtual care will continue to be pushed further or recede in the past as COVID-19 restrictions are lifted. As with other innovations that have come out within the past year, there will certainly be a reduction in use with more "normalized" practices being allowed; however, all items will still have their areas of need. We see virtual care being available to those who's immune systems are week and therefore receptible to sickness (other than just COVID-19), for those who may not be able to physically reach a particular specialist, or even just those who need a quick check up with a primary physician.

Peter Antall, Chief Medical Officer, at Amwell effectively stated: "Given the shortage of primary care physicians in the United States and the difficulties patients face in finding primary care physicians, virtual primary care takes the best of what traditional primary care has to offer and presents an opportunity to access care in a convenient and user-friendly manner."

As we begin to emerge from the the restrictions developed under COVID, many of us are excited about returning to more "normalized" practices. However, I think we can all agree, that due to the cataclysmic shift in general operations during 2020, many processes, specifically within businesses, may be here to stay for sometime; if not forever.

Deloitte recently published an article in Entrepreneur magazine on the "4 major ways COVID-19 Changed the Business Landscape": Accelerated digitization, Evolving the customer relationship, Investing in tomorrow's business foundations, Building from a foundation of trust.

Provided below is Deloitte's "2021 Global Health care outlook", which specifically discusses digital transformation and the use of interoperable data. The innovative methods further developing cloud computing and virtual care can be a difficult space to navigate so let Medex Healthcare Management provide assistance to your staff. We breakdown and explain how each component can accelerate your business in this new landscape! Call us today (201) 819 8246.
