As the main coffee harvest continues across Kenya, farmers and cooperatives are busy picking ripe cherries, processing coffee, and preparing for the new season.
This is an important time at origin. The care taken during harvesting, processing, and drying will have a big influence on the quality of coffee that eventually reaches roasters around the world.
For many producers, the focus is not just on producing more coffee, but also on maintaining quality, reducing post-harvest losses, and getting better value for their hard work.
At AGNIMBLE, we're already working closely with our producer partners throughout the harvest, supporting quality control, traceability, and preparations for the new crop. Being present at origin allows us to better understand what's happening on the ground and work together to address challenges as they arise.
For roasters and green coffee buyers, this is a good time to connect with producers, follow the harvest, and start planning for fresh-crop arrivals.
If you're interested in sourcing fresh-crop Kenyan coffee or learning more about the ongoing harvest, feel free to reach out.
