t’s come to dominate the presentation of digital information, this app displays information in a multidimensional space where its relevance to you is dictated in size and position. You can explore that space in every direction without being constrained by a set way of scrolling. The content itself defines the structure, not the other way around. GESTURES Camera

My advice on building products based on my personal experiences after building 20+ products and helping raise $12M for 5 startups, 3 of which have gone to Series A over the last 7 years

Some people have commented that I was foolish for giving up such a job opportunity.

They simply haven’t experienced enough of their life yet 🤗

Why is my tagline on Instagram, “I design your world”?
Because you might have used a few things I have designed in the last 20 years 🤗

If you add more features to your new product in an attempt to make it more appealing to your customers, you will get the opposite effect.

1. Your customers will be overwhelmed with parados of choice and increased learning curve in an unfamiliar environment.

2. Your core feature will be lost among all the other sludge of features, and your product will be less memorable or “catchy”, which means you won’t be able to pe*****te the market by attracting niche audience.

If you wanna argue by saying “well, Facebook has it, or that competitor has all these things,” let me give you a good for thought.

Facebook started as “Hot or Not”. Snap started as “Self destructing sexting app.” Uber started with only “on-demand” rides without scheduled rides. So name one successful product that we use all the time that started with more than 1 feature.
