Call for Nominations!

It’s that time of year again when the Green Mountain Chapter holds its annual election for the Board of Directors for the following year.

Want to expand your career while helping to make the Society a success?

The SCTE•ISBE Green Mountain Chapter would like to invite you or someone you may know to join the Chapter Board of Directors. Being part of the Chapter’s Board of Directors is a rewarding experience for all who participate and is something you can take with you no matter where you go. Whether you are looking to expand your career, gain experience, grow your knowledge or build your network, the SCTE is here to help you in your goals to success.


The Chapter is calling for Nominations to fill 3 Board of Director seats; one could be you!

Next Steps:

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Board, please submit your Name, Company, contact information and a short biography to the Nominating Committee: Natalie Humphries at [email protected] and Barbara Nitri at [email protected] on or before November 30th , 2021 at 11:59pm to be considered for the 2022 Board of Directors. If you work on the front line, please connect with your leader prior to submitting.

Timeline:

* Nominations start today, November 16th and will be open until November 30th, 11:59pm.

* Candidates will be informed by December 3rd.

* Elections ballots will be sent to all Green Mountain Chapter members, via online ballot, on December 6th with a voting deadline of December 17th, 11:59pm.

* Election results will be shared with candidates and chapter members on December 21st by 4:30pm.

Congratulations to our Industry Award winners! Understanding Wireless Networking

The Understanding Wireless Networks course is designed to provide an awareness of wireless and Wi-Fi networks found in homes and small businesses. Learners will be able to describe the radio frequency (RF) signals and standards used in wireless and Wi-Fi networks, along with installations and mechanisms for managing the home network. Finally, the key devices for home security and lifestyle networks will be identified.
