Blue Lightning, formerly Wiggins Telephone Association, has been providing local telephone service as an independent phone cooperative since 1951. In that time, we have provided quality phone service to four phone exchanges, all while managing to keep up with the innovative developments in technology. In 2008, WTA initiated a large-scale Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) project, investing a great deal in our rural community to provide an internet experience the way it’s meant to be!
