Harlequin gave us quite the surprise - she gave birth right before our eyes! This beautiful young koala from UniSA Magill came in not coping during the recent extreme heat. While she was recovering for a couple of days with AKR some of our overnight volunteers were lucky enough to witness her jellybean-size pinky emerge and crawl up and into her pouch.

We wanted to share some interesting facts we've learned over the last couple of days from and with all our followers!!

1. It was shared to me by one of our followers and contributor that one of our Koalas will be traveling to Norway! How cool is that?

2. An update from Adelaide Rescue. They successfully rehabilitated and released 80 koalas in January. That number may not seem high, but with the significant number of Koalas injured or even killed, this show's progress and hope!

2. We have gotten recognized by ALL3DP (a 3D printing magizine). They featured an article to their website as well as their fb page. I've attached a link to both pages in case you'd like to check it out :)

In an effort to help koalas affected by fires in Australia, they've been 3D printing mini koalas on their Ender 3 and giving them to anyone who donates at least $5 to the Adelaide Koala Rescue.

Good afternoon everyone!! We have many people joining our page daily and are very appreciative of all the support! With that...we'd like to take a minute to explain what we're doing and the progress we've made.

My 14yr old son, Mason received a 3D printer for Christmas and has decided to use his prints to give back to organizations in need.

The first group we've chosen is Adelaid Koala Rescue (AKR) in Australia. Due to all the unfortunate wildfires Australia has endured, many Koalas have lost their homes and some their lives.

With your $5 donation, you'll receive a handpainted 1.5" Koala keychain and proceeds will be sent to AKR. Attatched is a link to the AKR page if you'd like to take a closer look at their daily celebrations and struggles.

Prints for a Cause plans to continuing printing and helping different organizations in the future and we'd love for you to follow along with us.

* We never charge shipping for supporters outside of the Wichita area and will deliver!

Did you know that AKR operates a 24/7 Koala Rescue Service 365 days a year? ⁠⠀

Koalas keep rolling in from both bushfire affected areas in the Adelaide Hills and other reasons including koalas hit by car and attacked by dogs. ⁠⠀
The AKR Rescue Crew and our veterinary team are still working day and night to save these poor souls. ⁠⠀

This weeks temperatures will again soar with tomorrow hitting 40 degrees celsius. These fire impacted koalas have already endured enough so please help us continue to find them. ⁠⠀

Update on Koalas!
We have figured out our issue and are back to printing. Mason's printing this weekend then Braiden and I will begin painting Monday. We hopefully should start delivering/shipping by Wednesday.

Printing doesn't always go as expected!

We however are still working very hard to get all orders printed.

Mason prints outside of school hours and Braiden and myself paint outside of school/work hours.
