📸 SJC PHOTOGRAPHY | BOOKING POLICIES & CLIENT GUIDELINES
At SJC Photography, my goal is to provide every client with a fun, comfortable, and memorable photography experience while capturing moments you'll cherish for years to come!
As a small-business owner, I put a lot of time, care, and preparation into every session. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with my booking policies.
📅 BOOKING & RETAINERS
• A signed photography agreement and non-refundable retainer are required to officially reserve your session.
• Session dates are not guaranteed until both requirements have been completed.
• The remaining balance must be paid according to the payment schedule outlined in your agreement.
🔄 CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING
• Please provide at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your session.
• Retainers are non-refundable and are subject to the rescheduling terms in your agreement.
• Repeated cancellations or rescheduling requests may result in the session being canceled or a new booking being required.
• I understand that illnesses, emergencies, and unexpected situations happen! Please communicate with me as soon as possible so we can discuss available options.
⏰ ARRIVAL TIMES & SESSION DURATION
• Please arrive on time and ready to begin your session.
• Arriving late may reduce your photography time, especially for mini sessions or back-to-back bookings.
• Additional photography time is not guaranteed.
🌦️ WEATHER & LOCATION CHANGES
• Outdoor sessions are subject to weather conditions and safety considerations.
• If weather conditions are unsuitable, I will communicate with you about available rescheduling options.
• Location changes must be discussed and approved in advance.
🖼️ IMAGE DELIVERY & EDITING
• All final images are professionally selected and edited to reflect the SJC Photography style.
• RAW or unedited images are not provided.
• Gallery delivery times vary by session type and will be communicated during booking.
• Extensive retouching or additional editing requests may involve additional fees.
• Please do not apply filters, presets, or additional edits to delivered photographs without prior permission.
🤝 MUTUAL RESPECT & COMMUNICATION
• Every session, whether paid, discounted, promotional, or part of a professional collaboration, requires time, preparation, and commitment.
• Once a session is confirmed, that time is reserved specifically for you.
• I kindly ask that all clients and collaborators respect scheduled appointments, communicate changes promptly, and treat one another with professionalism and courtesy.
• SJC Photography reserves the right to decline future bookings or discontinue services in accordance with the photography agreement when repeated scheduling issues or inappropriate conduct occur.
