We have seen an increase in phishing emails getting through spam filters over the past two days.
These messages are getting more convincing, and just because an email lands in your inbox does not mean it is safe.
Before you click, ask yourself:
• Do I know the sender?
• Does the email address actually match who it claims to be?
• Is the message trying to create urgency or fear?
• Are they asking for passwords, payment, or sensitive information?
• Does the link look suspicious?
When in doubt:
Delete it.
Report it.
Verify with the company another way before responding.
A few extra seconds of caution can prevent a major problem. Stay alert and help protect yourself and your business.
