We are looking for some feedback on what are the most important features of a repair shop's website. Our platform has made some new features. We have added more local SEO with the addition of location landing pages, internal page linking throughout the repair pages, and appointment scheduling for repairs. We have some exciting new updates for FlipTech that we have been working on since the last SEO update in June.

First, we now have an enterprise buyback platform. In the past, many have asked how I advertise with Gadget Traders. The answer is simple. I use referral sites such as Flipsy and SellCell, to generate leads. The fee for enterprise will be a $2,000 setup cost and $99/month/feed. The price is steep, but I know how much you can make off these sites, and it is still cheaper than any other option out there at the moment with the number of features we offer. Attached is an image on Gadget Traders - Sell Your Electronics Today analytics year to date.

Second, we now have a repair option. Last June, we did an SEO update for the template that focused on local searches. Gadget Traders is currently ranking number one for almost every search, such as sell iPhone X Portland (image below of a search from today). Since then, Gadget Traders has seen at least five orders from local users per month, and we do get emails each week asking if people can come to us to sell in person. We are now implementing that same local SEO on a repair version website template. We offer a repair only option or a repair/buyback combo website. We have updated the system to accept quantity offers if you are dealing with bulk sales from schools or companies. It will create a single line item for each in the back end in case there are issues with some of the devices. We all know everyone selects like new, but the majority of the time they are in good condition or worse. 😆

Less than a month after our big SEO push, I am personally seeing great results in rankings for local search with Gadget Traders. We come up number 1 (unless there is an ad) for sell iPhone, iPad, and MacBook near me and also sell iPhone and Sell MacBook portland me (my city). Sell iPad Portland ME is lagging behind, but I believe we will see it near the top soon! I do mail in only with Gadget Traders and have already had multiple people show up to the local UPS store mailing address thinking I was a shop. I definitely have to do an update on my site letting people know I am mail-in only, but these leads would have covered the cost of Gadget Traders subscription for the quarter. SEO takes time to kick in, but once it does, it is free advertising.
