Couldn't have said it better ourselves: Rural Communities deserve the same reliable high-speed internet as everywhere else.

Thank you, Rep. Representative Austin Harris for taking the time to learn about community-based broadband providers like Citizens Mutual.

I had a great meeting yesterday with Citizens Mutual in Bloomfield.

We discussed their $50 million expansion into Van Buren, Wapello, and Monroe counties — more fiber in the ground and real opportunity for families, farms, and small businesses across southern Iowa.

Rural communities deserve the same reliable high-speed internet as anywhere else. It makes me proud to see a local small-town cooperative investing in our neighbors.

Community-based broadband providers bring world class internet to every corner of Iowa. Today, the Northwest part of the state is meeting with legislators to talk about this industry.

Thank you to the Iowa policymakers for supporting an environment where rural providers can continue investing in the networks that power precision agriculture, rural healthcare, local businesses, and connections to the global economy.
