Beautiful Axel is Done ✅ Please read about his beautiful life! Thank you for choosing me to capture your boy throughout his life!
Personality: Unlike most boxers, he was never hyper. Very calm with of course the few moments of zoomies. He was indeed a clown, though. He never mastered the concept of catching treats; he would let them just hit him on the head, then eat them off the floor. And god forbid, I didn’t fill his bowl when he was hungry, he would flip it over, repeatedly, until he had food. Then, if I left, even for a minute he would flip his entire bowl of food. He was also very in-tune with my emotional state and knew when I needed help; very service dog oriented (I just never had the doc “sign off” on it) and didn’t want to take advantage of the ADA system.
Favorite activities: He loved sunbathing. Whether on a porch, grass, pavement, he wanted that sunlight. The hose was always a fun activity he would love to jump through and bite at and chase. If thehose was unraveled, he stood by the end waiting for me to blast him with it, even in the cold weather lol. He loved his walks. Even as an old man he would out-run me bc he was so excited. And he loved waking me up in the middle of the night so he could get under the blankets. Also, he knew when pizza night was. Those pizza crusts weren’t going to be eaten by anyone else but him.
Toys: He had stuffed toy with a squeaky ball inside. I wish I could remember what the toy was, but he didn’t care, once he managed to get the ball out, he took it everywhere. No other ball was good enough lol. He also had a stuffed beaver, and giant Christmas pickle. They never got destroyed. For some reason, he never tore those apart. Just play with them and sleep with them.
