The FBI has released a photo of the drone that struck the wing of Quebec Canadair scooper (C-GQBE) on January 9, 2025.

According to this photo the drone could be a DJI Mini 3 Pro. This model weighs 249 grams. At this weight is in the category not requiring FAA registration.

Despite its small size and light weight, the collision caused a hole measuring 3x6 inches and damage to the internal wing structure.
