FROM THE ARCHIVES: Mustang GT
JL Audio Performance with Precision DSP Tuning
This Mustang GT came to Audio Advisors for a serious upgrade to its factory audio system, with the goal of delivering improved clarity, power, and control while maintaining clean OEM integration.
We installed JL Audio C5 speakers in the doors, powered by a JL Audio XD 800/8 amplifier. To bring everything together, we used a JL Audio FiX 86 for OEM signal integration and a TwK 88 DSP for detailed system tuning.
The FiX 86 provided a clean foundation for the upgraded system, while the TwK 88 gave us the processing and tuning control needed to optimize the speakers and amplifier for the vehicle’s interior.
The result was a system with greater detail, dynamics, and control all while keeping the installation clean and integrated.
From the Audio Advisors archives. A look back at some of the custom systems we’ve built over the years.
