On October 9, 2026, DFC Campbell conducted a traffic stop near N. Solomons Island Road and Chapline Place Boulevard. An investigation revealed the driver, John Edward Dove Jr. , 49, of Huntingtown, had an active warrant. As Dove exited the vehicle, deputies observed him throw an object into the grass. The object was identified as an improvised glass smoking device containing suspected co***ne residue. Dove admitted possessing the device. He was transported to the Calvert County Detention Center and charged with CDS: Possession—Not Cannabis and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia. Worth knowing: Four suspects arrested on child-s*x crimes in Fort Collins; police believe there could be more victims.

Police in Fort Collins stated Monday they have arrested four men for child-related s*x crimes, but said in a news release they believe there may be more victims and are asking for the public’s help to find them. Adam Williams, 53; Dustin Kramer, 49; Ronald Lizan, 46; and Luis Vega-Gaspar, 51, were arrested and booked between Sept. 24 on several charges, including internet luring of a child, attempted s*x assault on a child, and soliciting for commercial activity with a child, per a news release. The arrests followed a month-long investigation by the city’s Cyber Crimes Unit that began in August. But in Monday’s news release, a spokesperson for the city’s police department stated detectives there could be more victims.
