Hello folks , Matt here at Utah Speaker reconing
I have recently came across some N.O.S crossover coils old school sidewinder brand circa late 1980's Early 1990's. Great coils for crossover repair and making from scratch. Mostly air core. Also metal film resistors as well.
I will also have a mixture of NOS raw drivers as well as used Mostly middle to high end quality.
Im just receiving my shipment in noe once I start sorting it i will start posting the items. The items will be priced right.
I want to accomplish two things
1st make things affordable to be able to buy the items at a more than good fair price to yhe end user.

2nd Im not going to try and get rich just want to make a little bit of money while taking care of my customers so that if I do a good job they will come buy from me again.
One sale is nice a customer for life is my goal.

In the speaker world every one has the brand they like and can afford. You got the main stream brands Jbl altec Ev etc. Then you get the great sounding but not top of the food chain speakers and that's one brand I would like to talk about here. SANSUI . SANSUI Made some good speakers that were more than decent in the early 1970's. Gi's coming back from Vietnam brought quite a few back with them they purchased on the PX. Over the years these speakers broke down for various reasons bad voice coil deteriorated surrounds were common. Parts were available by parting out drivers from cabinets that had issues that has worked for a long, long time. However its come to my attention that these parts are now drying up and not available anymore. I took it upon myself to see if we can help the sansui community . I have figured out how to recone and upgraded the W300 woofer found in the popular SP300 cabinet and also the FG-104 mid range commonly called the squak box used in many cabinets these also can be reconed and upgraded . Folks I have been doing this for a long time and years ago I enjoyed the old school rockford fosgate speakers. Nowadays everything is 2 ohms or 1 ohms which isn't a problem other when needing reconed it hard to find kits.

If you have old school rockford fosgate speakers 4 ohm or 8 ohm the market Nowadays makes the cost prohibited to fix them . Im going to see if I can change that.
If you have an old school 4 or 8 ohm rockford fosgate woofer that needs reconed or refoamed give me the model number of the driver and I will quote you a price that should be low enough to make it practical to recone.

Matt here, folks I need some input on a couple of things.

First.. How many people out there have problems with their vintage Sansui woofers that have gone out blown voice coil, open voice coil etc and find it hard to have anybody recone them because parts aren't available?

Second ...Are their any old school rockford fosgate people that still want to run their vintage speakers from the 1980's thru 1990's that find it's not economical to have these speakers reconed or have recone kits offered for them at a decent price ?

Looking for your input on these topics as any input will be appreciated.
