At a North Dakota DOT tower near Wing ND, a lower guy wire snapped / broke in the bend of the guy and fell to the ground during an ice and wind storm.
I installed a preform dead-end on the guy wire and climbed the guy wire back into place and wrapped it back into place.
Then pulled the guy wire back out and connect it to its turnbuckle at the guy anchor again.
