NEVER A DULL MOMENT HERE.
For the past couple months, we have had a daily visitor which now has the formal name of Clyde Kevin Schmidt.
We started calling him Clyde, and come to find out that Z's Wheel and Tire named him Kevin. Since both companies are on Schmidt Road, we felt it fitting to formally name him Clyde Kevin Schmidt. CKS had become quite friendly, and his daily "knocks" on the door informing us that he was here and was ready for breakfast. :)
CKS seemed to have his favorite person which was Kenlyn, (who I like to refer to as "the animal whisper"). She "almost" had him eating out of his "breakfast bowl" while she would hold it.
Well, we hadn't seen CKS since last Thursday which was odd.
This morning he showed up, and unfortunately was injured. We knew that we had to do something for our feathered friend, so we coaxed him into our back fenced area where we knew he would be safe.
I reached out to Marty @ Wanakia Wildlife and she showed up in an hour to assist in the capture of CKS. Now,,, picture 3 adult woman trying to capture a crane in the POURING RAIN!!. lol Thank God for humans like Marty!!! CKS will be taken to a specialized Veterinary Clinic to determine his injuries.
I will post updates as soon as we receive word.
We are actually waiting for find out if Clyde is a fitting name, or if we have to change it to Claudia! ;)

We had not 1, not 2 but 3 opportunities to create signage for a local business owner. Kym Immel, owner of all 3- is a power house and and ABSOLUTE delight to work with.
