With a few simple tips you can avoid joining that statistic:

1. Suspicious Links
Phishing emails often contain links to malicious websites. Don’t click on any links unless you are certain of where they are going. You should hover your cursor over a link to see its real destination.

2. Sensitive Information
Be suspicious of any emails asking for sensitive information. Legitimate organizations will never ask you for sensitive information via email.
