This guy gave me a negative yelp review. But he claimed he brought in JBL speakers and I replaced the mids and tweeters with cheap Chinese knock offs.
1. The speakers he brought in were fishers.
2. I did replace the mids and tweeters with HIGHER quality speakers because his fisher mids and tweeters weren’t rebuildable.
He contacted me 2 days after he picked them up complaining that he couldn’t see his tweeters moving at high volume. He didn’t like that I said that was normal.
3. What a world…

These speakers came in for service. These are home made by an electrical engineer. They are incredible! 4 feet tall and 150 pounds each! The workmanship is crazy! Look at the cabinet without the drivers in it up close.

Rare Electro Voice 12TRXB speakers.
The replacement comes were not right. They sent guitar cones as replacements. They would have never sounded right. Lucky for this customer, I had some nice replacement cones that worked perfectly.

These old fisher speakers came in with very low output on the mids and highs. He wanted them upgraded, so I put poly caps and changed out the mids and tweeters with better quality speakers. They sound surprisingly very good! They now have detail, depth, and the 15” woofer can move the air. Cheap fix with great results🎶🎶🎶😀
