Hey everyone,
I’m selling my personal KEF XQ40 speakers in beautiful khaya mahogany.
They are in perfect condition except a few marks on the grill.
They’ve been modified. I rebuilt the woofers using a 25% larger voice coil and B&W Kevlar cones which significantly enhanced the lacking bass. Also making them one of a kind. $4500.00 new. Asking $3000.00 firm with enhancements

Custom speaker cables.
Yes! I do these too.
Although I think a lot of it is hype.
This 20’ set was $500.00.
And it’s nothing more than $60.00 worth of 14 gauge high quality relabeled lamp cord. And they call it directional. How can a/c current be directional?
The best sounding speaker wire I’ve ever used is Romex 12/2 solid wire from Home Depot. Research why it’s so much better…

Just got a set of JBL C50 Olympus S8R speakers in for evaluation.
They’re in excellent condition.
He’s selling them after I look them over if anyone has lots of space

On a KEF 104/2 run lately. This is the 4th set this month. Another set in for a tweeter rebuild. Over the years the ferrofluid slowly dries up.
This can completely “cement” the tweeter voice coils and diaphragms in place. The only fix is to tear the old diaphragms out, clean and replace the ferrofluid along with the diaphragm.
