Hobby Hut Rescue:
My wreath bow keeps falling flat!

Start at the center: make sure the bow is secured firmly to the wreath. Then lift each loop, gently shape its wired edges into a curve, and separate the tails so they hang freely.

You don’t always need a new bow—a little reshaping can bring the one you made back to life!

📍 Weatherford, Texas — today is the LAST DAY to register!

Come learn to spin yarn with instructor Caryn Hall at Hobby Hut Studios this Saturday, October 10, from 1–3 PM. It’s a hands-on class for beginners and curious crafters who want to learn how fiber becomes yarn.

$30 per person. Adults welcome; participants 18 and under need instructor approval and an adult participant. Class size is limited to 10. Bring a drop spindle or spinning wheel if you have one—spindles and fiber will also be available for purchase.

🎨 Hobby Hut Rescue: Paint bleeding under your stencil?

The usual culprit is too much paint on the brush. Before touching the stencil, dab most of the paint onto a paper towel. Hold the stencil flat, then apply the color with light up-and-down dabs instead of brushing across the edges.

A little less paint can give you much cleaner lines!

🎨 Hobby Hut Rescue: My paint colors turned muddy!

If your orange, yellow, and blue start blending into a color you didn’t plan, pause before brushing over them again. Let that layer dry, rinse and dry your brush, then add your next color in a thin layer.

The picture shows how much clearer the flowers can look when each color gets a little breathing room.

Join Cookie Time, LLC. for a fun, beginner-friendly cookie decorating class!

Tuesday, October 27th
5:30–7:30 p.m.

Decorate six Halloween cookies while learning baking tips, how to prepare icing, and beginner decorating techniques.

🧡 Adults and kids ages 12+
