Still running Windows 10? It stopped getting security updates in October 2025. 🛑

It still boots and still opens email, which is exactly what makes it risky. No patches means every new flaw found stays open on that machine.

If you have one or two hanging on, we can tell you whether they upgrade or need replacing. Give us a ring at 717-762-8234.

We can't get enough of the "Then & Now" photos from Waynesboro Historical Society. You can spot our Waynesboro office near the bottom right of the photos. Just look for the solar panels in the latest! 🌞

📢 Heads up, local nonprofits.

Microsoft ended its free Business Premium and Office 365 E1 grants on July 1st. If your org has been running on one of those, you may have already hit a "purchase and authenticate" wall when trying to set up an account.

The good news: there's still a free Business Basic grant covering up to 300 users, and paid tiers are heavily discounted for nonprofits. It's just no longer automatic.

If your board is wondering why Microsoft suddenly wants a credit card, give us a call. We've been walking several local organizations through it and can help you review which licenses you actually need.

Happy Fourth of July weekend, Waynesboro! 🎆
There's no better place to celebrate than right here at home — and this year's a big one: the 30th annual Summer Jubilee is this Saturday! We're proud to help support it. Come out for the parade, the food and craft vendors, live music, the Kid's Zone, and fireworks. Happy Independence Day from your friends at CermakTech! 🇺🇸

It's officially summer break! 🌞

A little PSA: heat is hard on electronics. If you've got a computer tucked in a warm closet, a router baking in a sunny window, or a laptop living in a hot car — give them some air. Overheating quietly kills more devices than people realize. A few feet of breathing room can add years to your gear.

Enjoy the summer!

Microsoft 365 nonprofit pricing is changing — the free Office Business Premium grant is going away.

If you're a nonprofit running on the free licenses, your next renewal will look different. We can help you transition smoothly, or get you signed up for the nonprofit program if you're not on it yet. Give us a call at 1-888-4-CERMAK or 717-762-8234.
