Facebook changed the rules. Here's what it really means for your obituaries. 👇

Meta has started limiting some Facebook Business Pages to two outside link posts per month, and obituary links count. Because so many obituaries reach your community through Facebook, we wanted you to hear it from us first.

The highlights:
✅ Your automatic obituary posts are working normally. As of October 5, the limit isn't affecting them, and obituary traffic and sales are steady.
✅ Family sharing still drives obituaries. In our research, 82% of people saw an obituary because someone reshared the funeral home's post, and those reshares don't count toward your limit.
✅ You don't need to change anything today. If Facebook prompts you to buy a paid plan, review the plan details first. Not every plan raises the limit.

We're watching closely and already testing solutions, so you'll be ready if and when the limit reaches your Page.
