SpaceX’s latest announcement just shook the wireless industry! T-Mobile dropped 13.27%, AT&T fell 9.81%, and Verizon was down 8.75% all in one trading day following the news that Elon Musk’s SpaceX has agreed to purchase nationwide wireless spectrum from Grain Management in a deal reportedly worth about $8 BILLION. It still needs FCC approval, but this could put Starlink in a position to compete directly with the 3 companies who have taken over the wireless market. Because if you aren’t with one of these 3 at this point you are with a company that just resells on their network!

With SpaceX though, this goes beyond satellite internet. SpaceX is working toward a mobile network that combines satellites with equipment on the ground.

Another major wireless option could be on the way! What’s your thoughts?

Vote for Techy’s own Natalie Irwin for Player of the Week! After taking a stick to the face she came off for a few minutes and Natalie returned to score the winning goal against Spruce Mountain during their homecoming game, the team they lost to in last year’s regional championship. She followed that up with two goals against Mountain Valley, two newspaper appearances and an interview with Central Maine Sports!

I’ve learned a lot in my journey in business from 13 to 18. I really appreciate everyone in this community that has supported me and this store. There has been a lot of good and a lot of learning. Through it all my goal and our goal has been one thing, do what we love and help a whole lot of people with they’re tech problems. That we have accomplished. In 4 short years we hit earlier this summer over 10,000 repairs completed. I could have shouted it out, told everyone hey we did 10,000 repairs. Instead I stuck to my work, fixing devices, helping people, starting college and living life as an 18 year old. Business isn’t easy, I didn’t know nearly what I know today when I started this. Today I can fix almost anything, and have learned a lot about customers, business and how to become better every day. I say all of this to just say thank you, thank you to this community and for giving me the opportunity to live my dream and support our business to become one of the busiest electronic repair stores in Maine. It hasn’t been easy, but with great support from our staff, my family and what made it all worth it is people like you out there giving me the chance to fix your tech and live my dream! I can not thank you enough!!!
