Week 4: Digital Detoxing
As we approach Memorial Day, we honor the service members who sacrificed everything for our freedoms — including the freedom to pause, reflect, and be fully present. One meaningful way to honor that is by intentionally stepping back from our devices.
Key practices to consider:
🌱 Tech‑Free 10: Spend 10 minutes outdoors without your phone or watch to reset your mind.
🕊️ Digital Sabbath: A 24‑hour break from technology. Read, move, journal, and reconnect with yourself.
👨👩👧 Model mindful tech use: Children mirror our habits. Demonstrating healthy tech boundaries matters.
🌙 Set “Downtime” (9 PM–5 AM): Reduce late‑night scrolling and reclaim restorative rest.
Devices should enhance our lives — not dominate them.
